Shaman King: & a garden is an ongoing manga series that is based on Hiroyuki Takei’s original concepts, storyboard/planned by Jet Kusamura, and then finally drawn by Kyo Nuesawa. The series runs monthly in Nakayosi magazine, which targets a younger female audience.
Within the magazine, there are two locations where the manga artists can leave comments. The first is in the margins near the start of the chapter. This spot also included the mailing address where fans can submit their letter and fanart. Then located at the back of the magazine is the “Table of Contents” where the editor asks all the manga artists the same question and each of them responds. The margin comment located within the chapter is available in both the print and digital editions of the magazine. As the Table of Contents is different for the digital magazine, this is only included in the print edition of the manga and not in the digital edition.
