This week we have a bunch of exciting this week in Shaman King.
Today Shaman King: Marcos volume 2 comes out digitally in English and it is available worldwide! There are multiple places to purchase the volume digitally. This catches English readers to the Japanese volume releases.
There are a couple physical manga releases this week too. The Italian volume release of Shaman King volume 8 will be coming out on Wednesday. Thursday has a big number of releases with new print re-releases of Shaman King: Flowers volume 1 & 2. There is also a Shaman King Official Animation Guide that will be coming out on Thursday as well. We’ll have more information about the Official Animation Guide after it’s release.
On Friday Shonen Magazine Edge will be released which will have a new chapter of Shaman King: Marcos in Japan in both print and digital editions. While previously noted for a return this month, the Shaman King: The Super Star manga is still on break.
Friday also will be the start of 2 new collaborations. We’ve highlighted the details about these collaborations in previous articles for the Pop-Up Shop and Raku Spa.
Saturday will also have the third part of the first chapter of Shaman King: Faust8 manga. Magazine Pocket splits up the chapter into multiple parts, which appear to be a weekly release currently.
In terms of products this week, it is a bit light. Monday had the can badges that are available at Japanese arcades. The orders for the Shaman Ring will open up on Thursday, but since they are made-to-order it may take some time before they get into fans hands.
While not Shaman King-related, Hiroyuki Takei will also be a “producer” for the upcoming manga Mini 4 King will be release in the monthly Corococo magazine on July 15th. Once the manga is out, we may find out more of Hiroyuki Takei’s involvement in the series.
