The theme this week is manga and arcade prizes for Shaman King!
Starting off on Monday, the polish edition of the Shaman King manga will have its second volume release. StudioJG has a preview of the full wrap-around cover as well as a preview from within the volume.
Next up on Tuesday there is 2 big English releases for Shaman King. First up is Shaman King Omnibus #3, which contains volumes 7, 8, & 9 of the manga back in print! These volumes contain everything from the Japanese print editions, including the updated artwork and the Remix Track extras. This print edition also has updated translations, retouched lettering, and a bunch more from the Comixology digital editions. Definitely a version you will want to pick up from your local bookstore!
Shaman King: The Super Star volume 5 will also have its worldwide digital English debut as well. This catches us up to the Japanese volume releases for the series as it moves into the next story arc. If you were fond of the earlier Shaman King: Flowers type of story and characters… this volume has a lot of that same feeling. We’ve collected a bunch of links to various storefronts where you can go buy this digital edition. Pick your favorite and enjoy, since it is a worldwide release (outside of Japan)!
Wednesday has one more print volume release, this time happening in Germany with the 9th volume of the manga. These are two-in-one print editions. Digital versions are available, but volume 18 has not been released digitally yet.
The last manga release is the first chapter of Shaman King: Faust8 – The Eternal Eliza for its Japanese digital release on Magazine Pocket. You may remember this being on last week’s post, but it was delayed one week to this Saturday.
In terms of physical goods that are coming out this week in Japan… the arcades are where you’ll want to be! There are 3 different arcade prizes that are coming out, which are really cool for those living in Japan.
