Timed with the “Shaman King Exhibition Going Izumo” at the Izumo Cultural Heritage Museum this summer, a special hotel and onsen collaboration has been setup for the guests traveling to the area. There are 3 venues in total which are participating.

Tamatsukuri Onsen Matsunoyu
This hotel is the only one of the 3 that includes multiple on-site hot springs (onsen). There is no transportation or travel accommodations included with your room stay.
To book the hotel and onsen, the room reservations start on June 18th and end on August 16th, unless all of the rooms become booked. Each room reservation for this collaboration is limited to a 2-day/1-night stay at the hotel. Additionally, there is a guest minimum for booking the rooms during the specified dates and prices. The price is reduced for the number of people staying in the room. So a group of 4 staying on July 22nd will cost 78,000 yen in total.

The dates between August 11th and the 15th line up with the traditional Obon festival timeframe, so the rates and minimums have been raised during those holiday dates.
With the hotel stay, you will also get a breakfast and a dinner included with your room and access to the hotspring (onsen). There is a total of 4 onsen (split for men and women) along with a sauna and whirlpool bath. There will not be a tour conductor, but the hotel staff can direct you to the local accommodations. All rooms are in the Japanese-style room and are 10 tatami mats in size. There are cancellation fees (listed by per-person) if you can not make your scheduled stay.

Twins Leaves Hotel Izumo & Green Rich Hotel Izumo
Depending on the package you select, this hotel stay can also include either airfare or train tickets with your hotel stay at reduced rates. You can also just book the hotel and make your own travel accommodations. The dates for the collaboration are the same as Exhibition which are July 22nd through August 29th.
Currently both hotels have not started booking for the rooms, so the exact rates and styles are not confirmed. All of the rooms are Western-style, with one or two beds. Both of the hotels are located in downtown Izumo. The Twin Leaves hotel is also written as “T-Leaves.”
