While a bunch of on-going events happen in Japan, for the English fans we finally have something for you! On Tuesday the second Omnibus manga volume comes out in North America. This volume contains everything from the new Kodansha edition of volume 4, 5, and 6 from the Shaman King manga. There has been a ton of enhancements from digital edition released last year in English, so it is the definitive version to pick up! Early copies have been shipped to some bookstores already so you may get ahold of one before the release date. A list of online retailers is also available on Kodansha USA’s website.
Friday the OIOI Limited Shop for Shaman King will most likely more to the Hakata OIOI store. This was the original dates for this event, and it appears that they will host the event as originally planned. It contains the same products and features as the Shinjuku OIOI Annex event which ends on Monday the 7th.
Ending the week is the Ichibankuji Shaman King Event. This is an in-store lottery drawing where you can purchase tickets to win prizes. The event only lasts as long as they have prizes, and the rules can vary by store. There are no online drawings for this, so you’ll have to be inside a store in Japan to play.
