If you’ve been spending some time on Twitter related to Shaman King, you may have noticed that this month there are a couple retweet and other twitter campaigns that are currently ongoing in Japan. While these campaigns are limited to the fans in Japan, we’ll cover what each of them are about, so you know what to expect when you see them in your timelines.

Shaman King Double Follow Campaign
To promote the upcoming Shaman King: Funbari Chronicle Japanese mobile game a Retweet campaign has been started to ensure fans are following the official Twitter accounts. There will be a total of 25 randomly-selected winners spread across 4 different prizes:
- Volumes 1-34 of the Shaman King Japanese manga (print edition) – 3 Winners
- A Funbari Onsen Prize pack (4 items) – 2 Winners
- Complete set of Can Badges (8 items) – 8 Winners
- Matamune Plush Pillow – 12 Winners

Daily Amazon Gift Codes From Shaman King: Funbari Chronicles
To build up their follower count, the official Twitter account for Shaman King: Funbari Chronicles is holding a daily contest for giving out Amazon Japan gift codes. There will be one winner for each different character tweet sent out for the contest and they will receive a 5000 yen gift code to Amazon Japan.
To enter you must complete the following:
- Follow @SHAMANKING_GAME
- Retweet the character tweet that has the hashtag of the character’s name in it
- Be able to accept DMs (Direct Messages) from @SHAMANKING_GAME
As of June 5th, there has been 4 daily tweets so far, each with a different end-date, so you still have time to enter (for fans in Japan).

Kotodaman x Shaman King Test Quest Results Campaign
Currently in the Japanese word-puzzle mobile game Kotodaman, they have a Shaman King collaboration event. One of the modes within the game is a “Shaman King Test Quest.” Within the quest you are given 5 or 10 trivia questions about Shaman King where you can answer. Winning the Test Quests can earn you prizes within the game, and you can replay it unlimited times. At the end of the quest you also have the option to share the your results on Twitter.
If you share it on Twitter, you will be entered into a contest to win a gift code worth of 10,000 yen. There will be 10 winners selected. Additionally, by sharing your test results it will also work towards increasing the probability of in-game prizes within the Shaman King Test Quest.

The link at the bottom is a player-specific referral code that can do a couple things:
- Launch the Kotodaman app if you have it installed
- Redirect you to the App store to download the app (if possible)
- Redirect you to the special page created for the game (when on PC)
(The referral code may also have some other in-game benefits as well)
The contest started on May 31st and will continue until June 14th at 15:59 in Japan.
Ichibankuji Shaman King Twitter Campaign
To promote the upcoming in-store exclusive Ichibankuji (prize lottery) event for Shaman King, the official Ichibankuji account is also holding a Twitter campaign.
To enter you must complete the following:
- Follow @ichibanKUJI
- Be able to receive DMs (Direct Messages) from the ichibankuji Twitter account
- Retweet the tweet below OR make a tweet using the hashtag #一番くじSHAMANKING
The contest started on June 4th and will run until June 20th, where 3 winners will be selected that will win the entire set of A to E prizes from the Ichibankuji event. The “Last Prize”, which is an alternate color version of the Yoh figure is not included. It may take up to 3 months for the prizes to ship, and they will only ship to addresses in Japan, as linked to your BPNAVI account.
