Earlier today, Sega has announced a “Shaman King Prize Campaign” for their arcades in Japan. There will be special Shaman King created merch that can only be won as prizes in various arcade games. This is new artwork that is exclusive to this event. The entire event will run from June 4th until July 25th, and different prizes will be released throughout the event. Additional information can be found on the official website for the event.

Via their crane game you will be able to play to get one of six cards that are designed like tickets. The game will cost 500 yen to play. If you do not successfully get a prize, one will be randomly given to you. The first set will be available from June 4th through July 1st.

The crane game will then have the prizes swapped to a different card designs starting on July 2nd. The same rules and cost apply as the first set. The second set will be available from July 2nd until July 25th and are shown below. All prizes are while supplies last.

Other prize machines will have a more limited number of goods. This will include a Holographic Can Badge, as shown below. They have a diameter of 76 mm. Unlike the crane game, these are all skill-based and prizes will not be given out automatically.

Additionally there will be acrylic stands that can be won in the same manner as the can badges. These are about 170 mm tall. See the machine for the price and availability. Both of these limited goods will start in the arcades on June 4th.

Some of these goods are already on display at the Shaman King Birthday Party currently being held in the Sega Akihabara Building #5:

If you are unable to go to the Sega Arcades in-person, these prizes will also be available via their crane game service “GOTON!” This is a service where, for fans in Japan only, can remotely control a crane game to win to play and win prizes. There is no international shipping available. Due to restriction on international shipping caused by COVID-19, the English International service of GOTON! is currently discontinued. Previously the service was referred to as “SEGA Catcher Online” before changing its name to GOTON! starting on February 3rd, 2021.

To further promote the event, a Twitter Retweet campaign will begin on the account @SEGA_Ent. 3 winners will be selected to win a complete set of the Can Badge prizes. These ad campaigns are restricted to fans in Japan only. The winners of this Twitter campaign will get their prizes in late June 2021.
