Takei Festival Discussion Topic

This July Takei is taking over Jump SQ19, Ultra Jump, and JumpX! And with this huge cross promotion they are calling it “Takei Festival” or “TakeiFes” for short. So it’s not a real event, that you could go to, but there is some news being announced. It sounds like each magazine will have a different piece of news (or different parts of the same news). So let’s cover all the stuff that’s happening!

Update on 6/6: All new things are in orange!

Confirmed:

• News about the Shaman King and Jumbor figures being released in Japan. Specifically Yoh and the EM (Earth Mover, from Jumbor).
• Each magazine will have a Takei drawn cover. You will also be able to put all of them together to form a special image.
• Each magazine will also come with an extra. This isn’t entirely true. In JumpX there is only a contest to win things…

• And here’s the Ultra Jump cover! It’s kinda weird to see a white background on Ultra Jump…
• JumpX (Jump Kai) will be released on June 8th, NOT June 10th, since that’s on a Sunday.
• Second printing of Shaman King Zero Volume 1 will be shipping on June 1st.
• Jumbor volume 4 will be on sale on June 4th
• Jumbor will have color pages in the Ultra Jump issue.
• Here is the cover of the JumpX issue featuring Hana and Amdimaru. This image will be in the middle. Jumbor to the left, Ultimo to the right.
• The Yoh figure will come out this fall before the end of the year (Nov/Dec). The price will be 8500 yen. Dit, Jezzy, and I are all going to buy it. Jezzy will update us once you can pre-order it (in another topic). Jezzy included the latest pictures of the figure in this topic. Thanks Dit for the update!
