With the new Shaman King anime only a few weeks away, a bunch of new Shaman King products and releases will be coming out in March! To help keep track of what you can look forward to each week, we’ve created this new infographic for “This Week in Shaman King!” In addition to our monthly overviews, we’ll can keep you informed on what’s happening in the world of Shaman King, all around the world! These infographics will also include when the new anime episodes air so you can keep up to date!

For this week there are two big highlights that occur on Tuesday March 9th. The Tokyo Boogie Night episode that recently aired on Japanese radio broadcast will have it’s web stream debut on Tuesday March 9th at Noon. Due to time zones, this may actually release on Monday for some (such as EST and PST time zones) in the USA. This stream will be notable as it contains a good portion of the new Shaman King anime’s opening theme “Soul Salvation.” A tweet on our news feed (@ShamanKingNews) will be made when available (with the timecode to jump to).

The new and ongoing spin-off series, Shaman King: Marcos will have it’s official English digital debut this week as well. Pre-orders are currently available and the full first chapter can be read online in English for free from Kodansha Comics USA. We have the list of locations where you can pre-order the volume located here. Volume 2 of the manga series will release in Japan on the 17th and no release date has been set for the English second volume.

While note listed on this forecast for the week, there are some other potential news items. First, Discotek will be holding a license announcement stream this Monday at 9pm EST. Discotek is an American anime licensor, which has released other anime titles similar to Shaman King in the past. So there is a chance they could announce a license for the 2001 Shaman King anime as well.

For the second potential announcement, Kodansha Comics USA hinted that they will have some changes and announcements for their website sometime this week as well. No specific dates were given on when this potential announcement may be.
