Continuing with it’s current weekly trend the official Shaman King 2021 anime Twitter and website were updated on February 17th at 10:00am local time in Japan to announce an additional character designs and voice cast. There is no set schedule for these announcements and tend to only be hinted at when they will be announced from the staff working.
Voice Cast Announcement:
Lyserg will be voiced by Yoko Soumi (沢海 陽子) and is returning from her role in the 2001 Shaman King anime.

Can you tell us about the appeal of this series?
What else can it be than Yoh-kun’s “carefree motivation” spirit. If we could, I would like to leisurely as well. Do we all miss him? I think so. But he’s not just carefree, he’s also strong! It’s so unfair. (laughs)
Can you tell us about how you feel to play Lyserg?
20 years ago, I got the role of Lyserg, who was the first male character I ever played. And it was a leading role… The excitement from back then is all coming back! I’ll do my best to return back to my roots. It’s nice to meet you all again!

Yesterday the Crysto website opened up pre-orders for some new Shaman King merchandise in Japan featuring the character designs of the upcoming anime. Within these designs they also included Silva who has not been formally announced yet. More information about these products can be found on our article from yesterday.
A release date and time for the first episode of the Shaman King (2021) anime has not been announced. Additionally, no international rights/services for the new anime have been announced at this time but are expected to come out prior to the anime in April 2021.
