On a slightly different day than the previous weeks, the official Shaman King 2021 anime Twitter and website were updated at 10:00am local time in Japan to announce an additional character designs and voice cast. There is no set schedule for these announcements and tend to only be hinted at when they will be announced from the staff working.
Voice Cast Announcement:
Mosuke will be voiced by Masakazu Morita (森田 成一). In the 2001 anime, the character was voiced by Hisao Egawa and by Kumiko Watanabe for the child flashbacks.

Can you tell us about the appeal of this series?
I come from the generation where you could read “Shaman King” as it was first being published [in Weekly Shonen Jump Magazine].
The word “shaman” is only mentioned very briefly in Japanese and world history, but it still has the aura of ancient times.
This was an unique approach to bring this to current times. That alone made this title unique.
Can you tell us about how you feel to play Mosuke?
This series is being produced as a completely new anime. I feel honored to be able to play this role from the very beginning.
