Continuing their weekly trend, the official Shaman King 2021 anime Twitter and website were updated at 10:00am local time in Japan to announce some additional character designs and voice cast.
Voice Cast Announcements:
Faust VIII will be voiced by Takehito Koyasu (子安 武人) and is returning from the 2001 anime. Eliza typically doesn’t have a speaking role and her character designs were not revealed today. Faust’s pet dog, Frankensteiny is also expected to make it’s anime debut but that character design has not been revealed yet either.

The character page for Anna was also updated with an additional face design. Previously they had the same image shown twice by mistake.

After last week’s announcement, Tamao’s voice actress, Nana Mizuki posted on her blog today that she is now re-reading the original Shaman King manga to prepare for her upcoming role. She held up a copy of the “Kang Zeng Bang” (or “Perfect Edition”) of the manga.
The new Shaman King anime will broadcast in Japan in April 2021 on TV Tokyo but an exact date and timeslot have not been announced. While new character announcements and voice cast have been occurring weekly, it is not a definitive schedule for future announcements. Megumi Hayashibara (voice of Anna) will be having a special 1500th episode of her weekly radio show later this week, and there could potentially be new announcements or comments made during it.
