Kodansha Comics USA announced today via a blog post on their website their new digital release titles for March 2021. Included in this announcement is that the have licensed the Shaman King: Marcos manga for worldwide digital release starting on March 9th, 2021. The 2nd volume of Shaman King: Marcos will publish in Japan on March 17th, 2021. No English volume release date has been announced yet for this second volume. Shaman King: The Super Star will have it’s 5th volume release in Japan on February 16th and no English digital volume release date has been announced for that yet. This will be the first release of the Shaman King: Marcos manga series outside of Japan. There has been no announcements for print releases at this time for any of the sequels or spin-offs, however sales number of the upcoming print Shaman King Omnibus volumes may help future print releases.

Closer to the release of the first volume, a free preview of the first chapter will likely be posted on the English Kodansha Comics USA website. Be sure to follow @ShamanKingNews on Twitter for when that is released.

Shaman King: Marcos is still an ongoing manga series in the Japanese magazine called Shonen Magazine Edge. It typically runs monthly, however it will be on break in the next issue. Jet Kusamura is also working on the monthly series Shaman King: & a garden as the story writer which releases monthly in Nakayosi magazine. Hiroyuki Takei primarily works on the main storyline manga Shaman King: The Super Star, which also runs monthly in Shonen Magazine Edge, but provides a considerable input into both Marcos and & a garden manga series.
