First announced on Megumi Hayashibara’s weekly radio show “Tokyo Boogie Night” on Sunday, followed by an official tweet, two new music CDs will be released in Japan. It was previously announced that she would be performing the opening and ending themes for the new Shaman King anime.
Megumi Hayashibara 30th Anniversary Best
First a new album tentatively called ” Megumi Hayashibara 30th Anniversary Best” will be released on her birthday, March 30th. This album will feature many of her famous songs as well as newly written songs. A tracklist has not been released yet, but there is a chance that one of the new Shaman King theme songs could be included.

TV anime “Shaman King” Theme Song Maxi Single
The title of the single is currently tentative as the name of the Opening and Ending themes for the new Shaman King anime have not been announced yet.

The new Shaman King anime does not have a broadcast date yet. Typically King Records releases their music on Wednesdays, with exceptions like the album for a birthdate, so this single date may not reflect when the anime would air.

Also released today, January 10th, was a new cover of the song “Northern Lights” in the BanG Dream game series. This song is performed by the in-game music group “Afterglow.” “Northern Lights” was the 2nd opening song from the original Shaman King (2001) anime in Japan by Megumi Hayashibara.
