After launching on November 17th with the Shaman King collaboration, the Japanese mobile game “Three Kingdoms Smash” (Sangoku Taisen Smash) has been updating it’s in-game roster with even more characters, items, and events. The collaboration event is scheduled to run until November 27th, 2020 at 10:59 (Japan).

This article may be updated as additional information is announced and clarified within the game.

Collaboration Gatcha Sets

Set 1

At the launch of the game, the first gatcha set contained Yoh Asakura, Tao Ren, and Lyserg as the rare pulls. In addition to these, there were other non-collaboration characters that can be pulled as well.

In addition to pulling, there is the “Ichiya of Hope” where addition bonuses can be applied after 10 consecutive gatchas. This can include increases in probability for rare characters or decreases in the number of “dragon balls” required to do another gatcha pull. It’s also possible to pull Yoh Asakura or Tao Ren via the “5-Star Selection Military Commander Get” through this method as well.

Set 2

Starting on November 19th a second Collaboration gatcha opened up. These have different rates and rewards than the first gatcha set, but also included the characters Horohoro and Faust VIII. The first gatcha set will still be accessible until the end of the event. Yoh Asakura, Tao Ren, and Lyserg can also be pulled from this set (at lower success rates).

In addition to pulling for this 2nd gatcha set, there is an event called the “Phoenix Ticket” that you can participate in after every 10 gatchas pulls. On the grid you can flip over cards to reveal various bonuses. You get 2 cards to flip/reveal with every 10 gatcha pulls. Two to the cards on display contain either a Faust VIII or Horohoro character. In addition to those, the other bonuses include characters from the main game, items, and more Dragon balls.

Set 3

Starting on November 21st, a third gatcha set was added to the game. This time it featured “Wooden Sword Ryu” and “Joco.” The actual Japanese name listed is “Joco” (ジョコ) for the Japanese game, and is not named “Chocolove.” This is the first time the character was referred to as “Joco” in Japan and is very likely the name that will be used going forward for the upcoming new Shaman King anime in 2021 and in future collaboration/events. The name “Joco” started with the 4Kids English adaptation of the original Shaman King anime and the name continued it’s use in both the Viz and Kodansha Comics English editions of the manga.

Collaboration Event Competition

During the collaboration event by playing the collaboration quests you can acquire “Event points” which can be combined to give you a cumulative point ranking. The characters Tao Jun and Iron Maiden Jeanne can be won through this competition. Tao Jun is unlocked if you receive enough points; starting at 10,000 points for the Heroization version and the Supreme King version at 200,000 points. Iron Maiden Jeanne is rewarded based on your cumulative rank against all of the other players for everyone who is rank 1000 and higher.

Collaboration Adventure Quests

There are currently 3 different quests you can play. Using any Shaman King collaboration character in these stages can provide additional bonuses. The Hao stage is always available to play (but there is an additional version that has now been unlocked for an extra challenge). The Opacho event requires playing online with other players in order to complete. The Luchist event is also available, providing different rewards, but can be slightly easier than the Hao level. All of these events have the possibility of dropping their respective characters as rewards and are currently the only way to unlock these characters.

Anna Kyouyama is unlocked as a character at the start of the event and requires no other action.

War Gods and Items

In addition to the characters, the game also features “War Gods” which can be attached to certain characters to increase their strength with their “Over Souls.” These can either be attached with the gatcha pulls, or can be traded/transformed within the game to unlock. They are currently available for Yoh, Ren, Horohoro, and Hao.

Various equipment items are also available for Yoh, Ren, Lyserg, Horohoro, and Faust VII. These can be unlocked via an “Equipment Exchange Ticket S” if they are not unlocked via other means. These equipment items provide their respective characters additional HP, Attack, Speed, and an additional skill.

Character Art Gallery

Below is some of the character art used within the game. Once you’ve unlocked the character you can expand their image to view the full art. Within the levels you will see a chibi-version of the characters.
