As a follow-up to the first real day of the “Shaman King Exhibition Fan Meet-up Twitter Venue“, there was a smaller one posted today. Similar to the first, below is a rough English translation of the posts made:

  • I have a moment to answer some more questions. There is a lot of things that have not been announced and postponed. However we are looking to get the timing set properly, so please wait a little more. Smile.
  • Will the 20th Anniversary continue? I have received many questions about it. Tashiro-san just recently commented about it, and it will continue. We have short, medium, and long-term plans. Look forward to them! Smile.
  • Here’s a question about the Shaman King Exhibition. It was an important decision with Takei-sensei about approval to take pictures of the original drawings. For the color drawings it was impossible due to the possibility of fading. It was great to be able to have a space where pictures of the original drawings could be taken by the fans.
  • For the more personal question, they can’t be posted. No spoilers…
  • Why not switch to the 25th anniversary…? We haven’t decided that yet, and I want to be the first involved with the 30th anniversary. Ufufu. Smile.
  • “Shaman King Marcos” was the topic of many questions, but it’s all about glasses. See more in [Shonen Magazine] Edge’s may issue. I’ve seen the layout for the second chapter and I can tell you I’m excited about it. Smile.
  • What kind of person is Takei-sensei from my perspective? It’s a very professional relationship that is also playful. Jet-sensei is the same. When talking to them I say “Uhhh!” followed by “I see!”
  • There was are also many questions about the holy venue for the Aomori Exhibition. Portions of that had not been announced have been cancelled or postponed in various ways. Please be surprised. Corona!

The reference to Tashiro-san was about a new article posted today on magmix.jp and written by Hayato Tashiro, who was the writer for the video game Rumbling Hearts (Kimi ga Nozomu Eien). In the article, he noted that he is also contributing to the current 20th anniversary, but has not stated to what means. In the article it also mentions that there are several projects planned for 2020.

Prior to the Fan Meet-up Twitter Venue Day 2, Hiroyuki Takei’s editor also posted on Twitter some other updates about his life. He just got a new iPad to assist in working from home, but he still needed to go to the store to get the screen protector added properly. He has also tested posting from his iPad to Twitter, but it will take some getting used to. Additionally, he is now working completely remotely. As for his updates in his Animal Crossing game for the Nintendo Switch…

  • He now has Oranges on his island (native fruit was Pears, and gotten Coconuts and Apples previously)
  • He has scouted the animals that have come to the campsite
  • Due to his hours after work, Nook’s Cranny is normally closed which is making his progress difficult
  • He went to bed with 25 tarantulas in his pocket since he can make more money selling them in the morning. But he hopes that Rex will be there for even more.
