While Hiroyuki Takei is currently on break due to his medical treatment, he hasn’t stopped experimenting with his art. Earlier today, his editor posted two new paintings that Takei has done of his editor.
Prior to the release of Nekogahara manga, Hiroyuki Takei was experimenting with this art style and used it as an inspiration for the cat-samurai manga. For some of the color spreads within the Nekogahara manga he also used this style.
Hiroyuki Takei’s on-going manga series Hyper Dash! Yonkuro is expected to continue in the March 15th issue of Corocoro Aniki. Shaman King The Super Star is expected to return in the April 17th issue of Shonen Magazine Edge. Shaman King Red Crimson is additionally on break in the issue releasing in February and is expected to return in March.
