Magazine Comic-Zenon has announced that Hiroyuki Takei will be the star judge for their upcoming 4th annual manga drawing competition “Itten Toppa”. Entrants must submit their own manga between 5 and 17 pages before the March 1st, 2019 deadline. The winner will be announced online and through the magazine on April 25th, 2019. The following cash awards will also be presented:
- Grand Prize: 500,000 yen
- Second Prize: 300,000 yen
- Excellence Award: 100,000 yen
- Secondary Excellence Award: 30,000 yen
- Effort Award: 10,000 yen

Hiroyuki Takei has been a judge for competitions in the past. Most recently he was a special judge for the 2018 Mini 4WD Design Contest held in Summer 2018. Before becoming a successful manga artist he also submitted his works to similar manga drawing competitions.
