The official Shaman King 20th Anniversary Twitter account has recently posted 2 pictures of the “work-in-progress” for cover of the upcoming Shonen Magazine Edge issue. Within the September issue, it was announced that Shaman King would be on the cover and that The Super Star would have a color page. The two images (Yoh & Hao), which will be combined together for the cover are posted below.
In addition to being on the cover, a promotional clear card file will also be included with each physical copy of the October issue of Shonen Magazine Edge. The magazine will go on sale September 17th, 2018 in Japan. The digital version of the magazine, which can be purchased worldwide, does not have the physical card file included with the purchase. Both Shaman King The Super Star and Shaman King Red Crimson will have new chapters in this issue. The issue should also have an advertisement that will be showing off the covers for the final 5 Shaman King eBooks, volumes 31-35. The previous issue of Shonen Magazine Edge also contained a promotional clear card file for Shaman King The Super Star.
