Hiroyuki Takei’s editor has posted on Twitter that Shaman King: The Super Star manga creator, Hiroyuki Takei will be the featured artist in the next issue of Kikan S magazine and more information will be available next week. His artwork will be on the cover and have an interview feature within the magazine itself Kikan S is a quarterly magazine that covers stories around various Japanese artists and creators, with a focus towards anime and manga. The next issue of Kikan S should be available around August 15th, 2018 and will be issue number 63. More information may also be available from Kikan S‘ official twitter account in the future.
Hiroyuki Takei had previously had a short feature in the 2011 Summer issue (issue #35) of Kikan S based around his then-running manga series Karakuridôji Ultimo. Over the years, Hiroyuki Takei has done many interviews for various publications and TV programs.
Update 6/18: It was later confirmed that the interview will show details around Hiroyuki Takei’s process for drawing and coloring the cover image for the magazine.
