In the April issue of Shonen Magazine Edge, released in Japan on March 17th, it was announced that the Nekogahara manga will be ending. Next month, on April 17th, the final Nekogahara chapter will be published. This will be the 29th chapter in the series since it began in the magazine. The Shaman King: New Chapter prologue will also be in this issue.
Additionally, the Japanese volumes 4 and 5 will be published in Japan on May 17th, 2018. It was previously reported that both volumes of Nekogahara: Stray Cat Samurai would be published in English later in the Fall by Kodansha Comics.
Nekogahara has recently started it’s volume publication in Hong Kong in Chinese under the title “貓原” by Tong Li (東立). The first volume was released on February 9th, 2018.
