Announced with the opening of the brand new website, a new magazine called “Tezuka Mix” will begin publication in Japan on April 30th, 2018 in Japan. This magazine will run monthly for 18 issues and feature a character or series from Osamu Tezuka’s works. The first issue appears to be featured around his original hit, Astro Boy. As shown on the left, Hiroyuki Takei has already provided a drawing for this upcoming manga for the magazine with more details coming soon.
“Tezuka Mix” is being published by “Micro Magazine” a smaller independent manga publisher in Japan. This is not affiliated with Kondasha, who is currently publishing Nekogahara and the upcoming new Shaman King series. The magazine is being created in celebration of the 90 years of Tezuka’s works.
