Amazon.co.jp has listed the cover for the February 2018 issue of Shonen Magazine Edge that will be on sale on January 17th, 2018 in Japan. Yoh, as designed for the upcoming Kodansha reprint of the Shaman King manga volumes will be featured on the cover.
The cover also contains some additional text which helps point to some of the issue’s content. In the center it lists “2018春,蘇る!” for the “Spring 2018, Revival!” that reconfirms new Shaman King chapters will begin in the Spring. In the bottom right-hand corner it also says that the original first chapter, “The Boy Who Dances With Ghosts” is also included within the issue! This will most likely contain the original color pages. Hiroyuki Takei’s other manga series, Nekogahara also appears in the issue.
As previously reported, if you purchase the issue from Animate, you also get a bonus Shaman King 20th Anniversary sticker. You can pre-order the issue online from here.
