Starting on Friday the 29th (Kinnikuman Day*) of May a Kinnikuman Exhbit opened up for 3 days called the “Muscle Gallery” (マッスル・ギャラリー) in Tokyo. This special 3-day event cost 500yen to attend, but it allowed guests to view a unique history of Kinnikuman, or also known in English as Ultimate Muscle for the 2nd series. The first floor contained a gift shop for exclusive and rare items for purchase. On the second floor was a history of the series and included special pieces of artwork created exclusively for the event.

In addition to original drawings by the creator Yoshinori Nakai, there was special drawings by Terra Formars‘ artist Kenichi Tachibana, Midori no Makibaō’s Tsunomaru and Shaman King’s Hiroyuki Takei! The character Hiroyuki Takei drew was Buffaloman. There was also some figures by SpiceSeed who previously made a Shaman King’s Anna figures for WonderFest.

*The Japanese Anniversary Society declared that any Friday 29th of the year would be “Kinnikuman Day.” This is because “Friday the 29th” is Kin Niku in Japanese.
