On Sunday February 11th, 2024 will begin the Winter 2024 edition of Wonder Festival (ワンダーフェスティバル). This is also known as Wonderfest or Wonfes (ワンフェス) for short. The event is a one-day, in-person event in Japan.
The event is split between the official figure manufacturers promoting their upcoming figures to be sold through normal outlets for the rest of the year and one-off “groups” that make their own custom figures for sale during the event. These one-off, fan-groups’ figures are given a single day use approval from the appropriate copyright holders. Typically these figures are sold at high prices with a very limited quantity. Often these figures are promoted online via social media prior to the event.
There is only one Shaman King figure that is being released at this event. However YAMABIKO320 will be selling some other figures based on Takei’s other drawings and series.
