Starting on December 14th, 2023 through January 4th, 2024, the Japanese mobile game Medarot S: Unlimited Nova is having their first collaboration event with the Shaman King franchise. Several of the characters from the series have been transformed into Medabots for this game. A collaboration website has also been setup.

The game was first released on January 23, 2020 and is only available in Japanese. To purchase in-game items, you will need to be linked to a Japanese app store.

A trailer has been released announcing the collaboration with Shaman King:

The following Medabots are available within the game via a limited time gacha:

ModelNameInspired by
SKG00Byakkyoh (ビャクヨウ)Yoh
SKG01The Right (ザ・ライテイ)Ren
SKG02Horokeu Wolf (ホロケウルフ)Horohoro
SKG03Future King (ミライオウ)Hao

All of the Medabots have a pun in their name connected back to the character they are inspired by.

All 4 of those Medabots also have alternate custom skins that can be applied. These alternate skins can only be purchased with real money and require you to have already pulled the characters via the gacha.

Additionally there are Amidamaru and Shamash skins available for 2 of the Medabots that can be acquired within the game as well.

All of these Medabots have full 3D models which you watch battle during the Robattles.

The Medarotter (or “Medafighter”) also have 2 alternate costumes that can be acquired via the gacha. Hikaru can have a Yoh costume, and Kirara can have an Anna costume. These Medarotters can help direct the Medabots during battle and provide various bonuses.

Lastly there is new event medal that can be unlocked for additional benefits. There is a “Shaman” medal (based on Goldva’s face), and an “Itako” medal (based on Anna’s beads). These medals will first start silver, but through upgrades within the game you can level them up to the gold design.

From December 14th through the 28th, there is a special limited-time story mission that you can complete. Completing the levels can earn you books which you can then use to exchange for additional prizes. Having certain Medarotters, Medabots, and medals can boost your reward amounts. A preview of the story has been uploaded to YouTube:

The collaboration also features some special “Super Attack Robattles” where you can earn additional rewards such as titles for your profile. This mode provides for a more difficult challenge for seasoned players in the game.

On Twitter, the official account for the game (@medarot_S) has also posted some of the original design mock-ups for the Medabots in the collab:
