To celebrate Hana’s birthday, on August 15th a brand new trailer for the upcoming Shaman King Flowers anime has been released. This trailer is called the “PV1” or “First Promotional Video”. The previous one was only a “Teaser PV.”

The new trailer highlights scenes from the first several episodes of the new anime along with announcements of new and returning voice cast. The trailer was produced by Rina Mitsuzumi from Hyperbole who previously worked on various videos for the 2021 Shaman King anime. The motion graphics in the trailer were created by Shunkichi Akutsu.

New keyart was also shown for these characters as well:

For each of the new characters, they also asked each of the voice actors two questions about their roles. Below are the roughly translated into English answers for each of them:

Ami Koshimizu (Luca)

Question 1: What do you see as the appeal of this series?

I see the appeal of the complexity of people’s minds as they shift from the past, present and into the future as they grow while facing off with one another without backing down. Sometimes it’s painful to have doubt, but that’s how you grow. Even when doing your work, sometimes those necessary mistakes will happen.

Question 2: Can you tell us what exciting thing you are looking forward with by playing Luca Asakura?

She is a person who has something she wants to protect and is very pure and straightforward, even with a slightly peculiar personality. I need to spin my words carefully to not upset the balance with her expressions.

Kentaro Ito (Daikyo)

Question 1: What do you see as the appeal of this series?

I found this series to be very easy to watch, with it’s powerful battles, light tempo, and fascinating shifts with character expressions from scene to scene. As a member of the generation that read the “Shaman King” series as it was coming out, I really enjoyed this work, along with its sequel, in many ways!

Question 2: Can you tell us what exciting thing you are looking forward with by playing Daikyo?

I’ve always wanted to play the role of a spirit, so I’m very happy to have this chance. Being a killed swordsman at the end of Tokugawa shogunate is a rough life! As a person who was living at the end of the sword era, I tried to express the weight that he was carrying. Being able to interact with Hana and Amidamaru was fun! I also like his spirit ball mode.

Kenta Miyake (Ryuji)

Question 1: What do you see as the appeal of this series?

The main character, Hana Asakura, and the other shamans engage in some dynamic battles that are both passionate yet bizarre. They are really badass!

Question 2: Can you tell us what exciting thing you are looking forward with by playing Ryuji?

Ryuji Ichihara is a delinquent who is passionate and deeply respects Ryunosuke Umeiya, the dragon of the wooden word. I can not lose to his passion and will howl passionately too. We’ll conquer West Tokyo!!

Chihiro Ueda (Namaha)

Question 1: What do you see as the appeal of this series?

The “Shaman King” anime was one of the series I was crazy about watching as a kid. The world of “Shaman King Flowers” takes place 14 years after the Shaman Fight with the main character Hana, the son of Yoh and Anna Asakura…! I was so excited.
As I read through this series, I found the everyday interactions between the unique character funny, along with the burning passion battles that made this series very exciting.

Question 2: Can you tell us what exciting thing you are looking forward with by playing Namaha?

To support Gakko Ibuki’s dream to be “the strongest man in the world”, I’ll do my best to play the part of Namaha and be the strongest duo!
Thank you very much for your support!
