To celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the Shaman King manga on June 30, 2023, the staff from the upcoming Shaman King Flowers anime have drawn a special illustration on the official website.

The Character Designer for the Shaman King Flowers anime, Mayuko Yamamoto, also tweeted the following (roughly translated into English below):

Congratulation on the 25th anniversary for Shaman King!🎉✨ I was the artist for this illustration of a parent and child.🙇‍♀️ Thank you very much for the honor of completing it.

Additionally some of the cast from the Shaman King anime provided their thoughts as well (which have been roughly translated):

Yoko Hikasa (Voice of Hana and Yoh)

Congratulations on the 25th anniversary of Shaman King!

I am so excited to continue in their world, which is loved by so many people, will continue to live on into the future.

While Shaman King has a long history, I’ve only been involved with it for a little over two years.

I’m still young, but even looking back at my life from a bird’s eye view, I am tremendously happy and love to see this world where both Yoh and Hana can smile just like in this illustration.

I love Shaman King. I love Yoh and Hana. Thank you for being able to provide this wonderful feeling.

I want to give everything I can to make this 25th anniversary special for all the people involved in Shaman King and all the fans who watch and support us!

Katsuyuki Konishi (Voice of Amidamaru)

Congratulations on for the 25th anniversary! It’s incredible that a new work is being created even after 25 years!! This is all thanks to everyone who supports us and to Takei-sensei for creating this amazing world. Please continue to create more fun worlds to enjoy!!

Megumi Hayashibara (Voice of Anna from the 2021 Anime)

Even though the cherry blossoms in full bloom have fallen, they will bloom again when the seasons change. They dance and scatter fleetingly yet brilliantly, in a never-ending cycle. Time and time again…

Shaman King Flowers

In this time of aching hearts,
A “Flower” will bloom from a dead tree.
25 years? You are still young…
The real challenge start now! That’s what I say.
