The extremely popular Japanese mobile game “Monster Strike” is having a collaboration event with the Shaman King anime from November 14th through December 2nd. The game first released in 2013 in Japan and was developed by XFLAG. In addition to Monster Strike, they also created Kotodaman which had a Shaman King collaboration earlier this year. With this new collaboration, the official Monster Strike website has an event article detailing all of the specifics.
The game is only available in Japanese in the App Store and on Google Play. The previous English version has been discontinued.
Gacha Shaman King Characters
The following characters are available from an in-game pull in the Gacha mechanic:
- Yoh (★ 6)
- Ren (★ 6)
- Horohoro (★ 6)
- Faust (★ 4)
- Ryu (★ 4)
The chances for when certain characters will appear as part of this Gacha change over the collaboration period for the 3 higher level characters (Yoh, Ren, and Horohoro). Additionally these characters have evolved forms as well.
Shaman King Collaboration Starter Pack
An in-game “Collaboration Starter Pack” is being offered which allows for a one-time person to receive some items assisting with game. It costs 980 yen and is only available for purchase during the collaboration period. In addition to receiving various in-game items, you will also get an Anna (★ 6) character as well.
In-Game Quests/Missions
A variety of in-game quests can be played to gain various in-game rewards. This can also include new characters that may be randomly dropped that can be added to your team. Each character would only drop based on their mission.

Within the Lyserg quest, you can also get a Lyserg ★ 5 more frequently than the ★ 6 version. By playing online in Multiplayer you can also increase your chances of rarer drops.
There are also missions called “Strengthening Furyoku” which have various rewards based on the points totaled. In addition to the shamans below, there are in-game chat “Good Job” stickers that can be unlocked.

By beating the final round for the first time, you will unlock the following:
- Hao (★ 6)
- Player title “Shaman King”
- Hao Sticker
Login Bonus
When logging into the game during the collaboration you will receive various bonuses depending on how many days you login for up to 16 days. Every day you will receive a Chocolove ★ 6 character and other in-game items. You can also get in-game items which allow you to do additional pulls for the Shaman King character gacha.
