This week in Shaman King has a ton of new manga coming out around the world. First up on Wednesday is the first international release of the Shaman King Character Book in Germany. Also on Wednesday is the release of the 11th volume of the Shaman King manga in its 2-in-1 format in Mexico.
Friday is stacked with the the next bunch of Japanese manga releases. First the Shonen Magazine Edge magazine will release and it is expected to have a Shaman King: Marcos chapter within. Shaman King: The Super Star will is on break/hiatus until further notice. Shaman King: Marcos volume 3 will also get its print and digital release along with the new side-story manga Shaman King: Faust 8 – The Eternal Eliza volume 1. Lastly Shaman King volume 35 will finally be printed in Japan and contains the extra “Day After Maize” which was included in last month’s Shonen Magazine Edge issue. We’ve create a video last week which covers how this new epilogue was created and some of the stories within.
For the collectors with a bit of luck on their side… the Shaman King Collector Cards come out on Monday. These contain images from the 2021 anime (not part of any card game). And the Q Posket figure for Yoh Asakura also releases in Japanese arcades on Wednesday. International fans will be able to get this figure later this year.
On Thursday, the final episode of “season 2” for the Shaman King (2021) anime will air. The new opening and ending themes will be included in next week’s episode airing on October 21st.
