And yeah…. Dit is completely right, lots of great stuff. Here’s some images of my favorite parts!
Ok, the first thing I notice about this chapter is that face! It’s all over this chapter! It’s not very “Takei-style” but it sure is different!
Oni’s are back! And Hana also has that face! It’s a bit more Takei style.
And the classic “Big Oni” is back too! I also enjoy how you can actually understand what’s happening in this action shot. Unlike in most pages of Ultimo….
So it really looks like Takei is making this similar to a “Faust-like-arc” for this chapter. Bringing back the bones! But if you notice the layout of the skull… it’s very similar to a certain keychain…!
So here’s a little something for when Yohane gets grabbed…! We see his full face without glasses… this is a kind of unexpected shot!
And here’s Hao!!!
Tons of action in this chapter. Like it!

Heart-breaking chapter that for some reason reminded me of good old mankin.
¡¡¡Major plot twist alert!!!
[wpspoiler name=”Flowers 10 Spoiler” ]Okay, so first of all this chapter is pretty text-light… but instead we get a lot of action!
So, remember how the previous chapter ended?
Hana wakes up in a trance and starts to create countless onis, showing his “true power”. Luka gets scared by this and takes Yohane’s umbrella away from him to form their double O.S. and destroy Hana’s onis… but she’s not quite able to.
Then she succesfully uses her magic annulment beam against them, but right after they’re gone Hana summons even more of them. This time the small onis join to create a big one, and everyone starts panicking. Yohane mentions Mt. Osore, so let’s assume he was told that story as well. No matter how hard they try to kill the oni, it keeps regenerating. Still in a trance, Hana makes it even bigger and everything becomes darkness. Luca uses most of her attacks against the oni, but it’s become so powerful that she can’t harm it anymore. The giant oni destroys Luca’s O.S.’s core and she faints. Yohane screams when the oni grabs him, but Alumi appears just in time to save him with her special cannon. The oni vanishes and Hana falls to the floor uncounscious. Yohane asks what the hell is going on and she explains that Hana was shot dead when he was a baby. Thank God (haha) Hao could bring him back to life, and also blessed him with a self defense mechanism that will activate whenever his life’s in danger again… the onis.

And that’s pretty much what happens!!
Intense, huh?
I read the chapter right before my driving lesson this morning and I was so absent-minded I almost texted my teacher asking him to call it off… (but I didn’t lol)
